Tasting Note:
The 2003 Cote Rotie La Belle Helene reveals excessive amounts of toasty new oak some unresolved acidity a big chewy mouthfeel and dry hard tannin in the finish. It appears somewhat disjointed but full-bodied with plenty of potential yet enough questionable features to raise reservations about its ultimate equilibrium. We will not know for 5-6 years. It should keep for 15-16 years. Source: Wine Advocate
