2000 Bois de Boursan Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Tasting Note:
The stunning dense purple-colored 2000 Chateauneuf du Pape is performing better out of bottle than it did from foudre. Sweet rich and full-bodied with broad peppery cassis and black cherry notes intermingled with licorice incense and seaweed this pungent fragrant extremely Provencal effort tastes like liqueur of Provence. Drink it over the next 15-16 years. Source: Wine Advocate
