The fabulous 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder is another glorious example of mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, its opaque purple color is followed by a meaty, bloody, prime rib-like character intermixed with crème de cassis and floral notes. Deep, full-bodied, opulent and incredibly intense and pure, it is superb example of Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Veeder. Drink it now or cellar it for 20-25 years.

O’ Shaughnessy’s 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder is magnificent. Lavender, orange peel, blue fruit, menthol and cloves inform a pure Cabernet Sauvignon endowed with tremendous intrigue. The combination of radiant fruit and the inherent structure of the year yield a Cabernet Sauvignon that is bursting at the seams with personality and class. This is without question one of the wines of the vintage.
